Plain terms for a tool that mostly runs on your own machine.
The service
KaiConvert provides image processing tools that run in your web browser. Local tools operate entirely on your device; we do not receive, store or process the files you work on with them.
Your content stays yours
You retain all rights to the images you edit. Because local tools do not upload anything, we acquire no licence, no copy and no interest in your files.
Acceptable use
Do not use KaiConvert to create material that impersonates a real person deceptively, to produce fraudulent documents or records, to harass anyone, or to edit media you have no right to edit. Identity-editing features require an explicit acknowledgement that you have the right or permission to edit the media, and that acknowledgement is a condition of use, not a formality.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are. Browser capabilities vary, and some operations depend on codecs your browser may not support — where that is the case we tell you rather than failing silently. Keep your original files; we cannot recover anything, because we never had it.
Features under development
Some tools are listed as planned or beta. Those are clearly marked, do not process images, and may change substantially or not ship at all.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
