Colorize a black and white photo
Planned as a cloud AI tool: add plausible colour to a monochrome photograph.

This tool is on the roadmap. The page is here so the workflow, formats and related tools are documented — but nothing is processed and no result is produced.
Colourisation is inference, not recovery. A monochrome negative never recorded colour, so a model is guessing from context — skin, sky, foliage and fabric all have learned priors, and the results can be striking.
It is also worth being clear about what that means: the colours are plausible, not true. Historical accuracy is not something a colouriser can offer.
What you get
Context-aware colour
Skin tones, sky, vegetation and common materials handled from learned priors.
Adjustable strength
Blend the colourised result with the original for a subtler effect.
Honest framing
Presented as plausible colour, never as historical fact.
