Restore an old photo
Planned as a cloud AI tool: repair scratches, tears, fading and noise in scanned photographs.

This tool is on the roadmap. The page is here so the workflow, formats and related tools are documented — but nothing is processed and no result is produced.
Scanned family photographs arrive with a specific set of problems: physical scratches and creases, chemical fading, dust, and the softness of an old print. Restoration models are trained on exactly that combination.
This is a cloud feature by design and is disabled until a provider is configured. Old family photographs are also exactly the sort of image where an honest upload disclosure matters most.
What you get
Scratch and dust repair
Physical damage detected and filled from surrounding image data.
Fade correction
Contrast and colour balance recovered from a faded print.
Pairs with upscaling
Restoration then upscaling is the natural order for a small scan.
How it works
- 1
Provider check
Reports plainly when no provider is configured.
- 2
Disclosed upload
You are told the image leaves your device before it does.
- 3
